You will not be eligible for the First Offender Program. If you are sentenced to life in prison, you won’t be eligible for parole for the first 14 years. If you are sentenced to less than life you must serve the entire sentence. If you are sentenced to death and that sentence is later changed to a life term, you will have to spend 25 years in prison before you can be considered for parole.
